QuestAI Privacy Policy

QuestAI is a gaming assistant app that helps users discover games, track personal gaming context, and receive AI-powered guidance. This policy explains what data QuestAI processes, why, and what controls you have.

Information We Process

• Account information: email address, username, profile details (bio, avatar), and authentication provider details (email/password or Google sign-in).
• App activity: saved games, chat messages with the AI assistant, shared posts, comments, likes, follows, blocks, content reports, and preferences.
• Images: screenshots or photos you select or capture when using camera-based AI guidance. Images are sent to our AI provider to generate a response and are not used to train AI models by us.
• Purchase data: subscription status, product identifiers, and transaction identifiers when you purchase QuestAI Pro. We never see your payment card details — payments are handled by Google Play.
• Advertising data: device advertising identifiers and ad interaction data, processed by Google AdMob when ads are shown, subject to your consent choices.
• Technical data: device, request, diagnostic, and security information needed to operate the service, including daily AI usage counts used to enforce plan limits.

How We Use Information

• To provide account, library, social, search, and AI assistant features.
• To send your prompts and selected images to our AI provider (OpenAI) for response generation.
• To operate, secure, debug, and improve the app and backend services.
• To manage paid access, restore purchases, prevent abuse, and comply with platform requirements.
• To show ads to free users and manage advertising consent.
• To review user reports of social content and enforce our content rules.

Service Providers

• Supabase — authentication and account identity.
• OpenAI — generates AI assistant responses from your prompts and images.
• RevenueCat — subscription management and purchase status.
• Google Play / Google Play Billing — app distribution and payments.
• Google AdMob — advertising for free users, including consent management.
• IGDB / Twitch APIs — game catalog data (no personal data is shared with them).
• Render — backend hosting and database infrastructure.

Data Retention

Account and content data is kept while your account is active. When you delete your account, your profile, posts, comments, likes, follows, entitlement records, and AI usage records are deleted. Limited records may be retained temporarily where required for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or backup recovery.

Your Rights and Controls

• Delete your account and associated data at any time from Profile → Account → Delete account inside the app, or see the account deletion page.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through Google Play.
• Change your advertising consent choices through the in-app consent prompt (where applicable).
• Report social content or block other users directly in the app.
• If you are in the EEA, UK, or a region with similar laws, you may also have rights to access, rectify, export, restrict, or object to processing of your personal data. Contact us using the email below to exercise these rights.

Children

QuestAI is not intended for children under 13. If the app is offered in regions with a higher digital consent age, users must meet that local age requirement.
